Helpful tips:
Up to 50% of the intensity of light may be reduced by a dirty cover slip and light cover, so keep them clean! Many successful marine, coral, aquatic and plant keepers remove the covers monthly for cleaning.
The glass is quite delicate so should be handled carefully and placed away from the aquarium when cleaning to prevent damage. Wipe the glass once a week to allow as much light from the LED lighting as possible and a complete clean once a month is recommended.
